ain't it just SWELL ;)

and i tell u its great!
complete with to-die-for photos,stickers,council member cards
and complete info on the old 80s movie and the musical and the current one!!!
i tell u my love for HAIRSPRAY knows no bounds
now all i hav to do is wait for my HAIRspray 2008 calendar
as well as my Link Larkin 2008 calendar ha ha
and everything will be peachy-keen jelly-bean!

oh btw i hav that feeling again

the i wanna stop uni and go on broadway kinda feeling
the i wanna mingle with the stars kinda feeling
the im meant for something big kinda feeling!

yesterday daria,monica and i had a feast to end all feasts!
we had delish chocolate fondue w/ fresh fruits!
and we watched MERMAIDS!
now i hav frankie valli and the four seasons on my brain
not to mention leslie gore and my utmost favourite gene chandler!

so we hav decided that we will do....
a SIXTIES THEME PARTY!!
at the flat of course and we'll all be dressed in polka dots and swishy skirts and completely ratted up hair
and listen to sixties music!!!!

of course the only ppl in the know
is only the three of us...for now
so we'll see how it goes

but hmv offers free delivery weyyy

Anyhoooo!
can u imagine my joy!
finally FINALLY after berabad i get to watch my very favourite movie with its all-star casts
and lemme say,it didnt disappoint :)

we had a good 2 hour of fun last nite
i LOVE musicals!
and u know HAIRSPRAY isnt just any musicals,
the old version used to be my cheer-me-up movie
[i hav a lot of those,heh]
and this one is turning out to be my fav as well!

and of course,
we all enjoyed john travolta's version mrs.turnblad ha ha
anyways,it was a good girly nite in :)

havnt blogged for awhile cuz this past week hav been utter crap
and i've been doing some reading for my sociology essay which is due next tuesday
urgh
i tell u some branches of sociology might actually be fun
but the one were doing on work,organisation and society is a nightmare
and the essay questions are plain boooooring
and u hav to do readings from books in the 60's or 70's and they dun hav a new edition
and they write in loooong sentences
its like being slowly murdered with a blunt knife
heh

anyways!
last week was guuud
managed to go shopping and dinner w/ daria
ok the dinner was AWESOME
we ate at this italian cafe
i had this superb broccoli soup and yummy yummy buffalo mozarella salad with roasted vegetables
i tell u just thinking abt it has got me salivating
and it only cost me 9 pounds!
which is a pretty good deal

also went for dinner and a movie with monica on saturday
The Jane Austen Book Club : highly recommended
and dinner and a movie with nauveera on sunday
Elizabeth, the golden age : i've seen better
jazz club with the frenchies and suzanne,who is slovakian, on monday
Matt & Phreds : phenomenal
and a movie with monica on tuesday!

and today!
stuck in the flat
reading for that sociology essay yech
so now is my resting period
later tonite i'll do the essay outline
and tomo i will confine myself to the flat again and at least attempt to write the damn thing
