the music and the mirror

these past few days have been torture for me
i've been running on adrenaline SAHAJA cuz theres hardly any chance to sleep
ok tipu besar there ARE chances to sleep but i chose to read novels instead
sleeping is so overrated dontcha think? ;p

anyhoo,
ive been collecting and filing and xerox-ing documents, passports[new and old],offer letters, bank statements and wut else to do my visa
which i finally did yesterday morning, phewww
thank God thats over and done with,
now i can concentrate solely on shopping
which is so heavy a burden i cannot tell u *smirks*

tadi i went w/ ibu to PWTC for the International Islamic Fair
There was this booth on Chinese Muslim Calligraphy,
sejuk hati saya tengok the brochures about Muslims in China,
it makes me feel like us Muslims are more connected u know
Plus the couple at the booth is so niiiice
I think they are the epitome of how a real Muslim should behave when meeting a person for the first time
Soft-spoken,polite,kind
First impressions count for something after all,kan

Ibu and i also had lunch @ chillis
where we met ppl whom I consider a disgrace to the Muslim community
can u imagine this group of men skipped Friday prayers
made a ruckus [they were laughing loudly with completely NO shame for not going to prayers]
and was completely oblivious to the many stares and scowls i threw their way

Ibu warned me that i should NOT find a husband who behaves as such no matter how rich he is
I told her that money is not a factor for me and i would rather die than chain myself to someone of that manner
Truly a husband is suppose to guide u,and u him, into being better people
Instead of pulling u deeper into sin
I pity their wives,i really do.

lastly, here are pictures from the past couple of days:

i love the theatre,dont u
theres just something completely magical about it
And at the end of each show i cant helped but get a little teary-eyed when the cast comes on stage for their applause
i wish i could be the one on stage,
or if i cant pon,
i'd be perfectly contented to be the script writer,or costume director,or even props manager

i wish in Al-Amin dulu we did plays like Grease,or My Fair Lady,or Fame,or A Chorus Line
or The Music Man!
For Banaats[hahah, sudah berapa abad tak guna that word] je for Banaats lah but the chance to perform or be involved with something like that!
what i wouldnt give!
the one we did on Palestine was okayy i guess
and i had fun w/ the choral reading! :)
but i dont know,it was just missing something
Oh well, hopefully someday i will [be involved in a theatre to my liking]
Maybe a school production for my children nnt ke or something
U never know,heh
